Honestly, I can’t say that there is. I might as well start at the beginning of the film. I just love the amazing score, and the way the film starts with the hangar doors being pushed open, the silhouettes of the guys pushing the doors open. The plane coming out of it. Of all the things in the film, I think that it has maybe one of the best beginnings to a film I’ve ever seen. It builds so wonderfully and the action starts right away. And it’s very obvious that the planes are actually flying and it’s not computer-generated imagery. 30 years later, it just holds up so bloody well.
But that film had proved that Mills was a powerful enough and effectively emotional actress to work with legitimate legends. The Parent Trap is a bit more of a balancing act, a modern comedy where she would have to portray a typical American kid straight out of her dad’s California ranch and a more high-toned Bostonian with a touch of British in her voice. Having actors like O’Hara, Keith, and Leo G. Carroll in The Parent Trap helps. But this movie can only work if Mills works.
Jackson is one of those actors whose massive body of work belies his immense talent – he likes working, which means he’s been in a ton of bad movies over the years. But he’s also delivered indelible performances in films by Spike Lee, Steven Spielberg, and Quentin Tarantino (to barely scratch the surface), and of course he remains an integral cog in the Marvel Studios machine.Pillow Case

Comedy superstar Will Ferrell also popped in virtually to send off Conan. This is not the first time the former star of Saturday Night Live (where Conan also worked as a writer) has appeared when Conan is leaving a show behind. Ferrell appeared on Conan’s final episode at Late Night and his last night as the host of The Tonight Show. That might seem like a nice tradition, but Ferrell calls it “fucking exhausting.” In order to prepare for the next time Conan leaves a show, Ferrell took this opportunity to record some future farewells, so he doesn’t have to deal with this nonsense anymore.
Yesterday at the Disney Parks Blog, it was revealed that there will be not one, but two new nighttime spectaculars: one at the Magic Kingdom and one at Epcot. Over at the Magic Kingdom, starting on October 1 (the actual 50th anniversary of the overall resort), they’ll kick things off with “Disney Enchantment,” which will feature music (duh), fireworks (double duh), screen projections (triple duh), and will inspire “everyone to believe in magic”. Yes, even all you parents and relatives who have been dragged along on the Disney World trip begrudgingly. Even you will believe in magic when this show is over! That’s the rule.
Even though this is how Marvel chose to make these first three shows for Disney+, that won’t always be how they’ll operate. Upcoming shows like Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk have each had multiple directors hired for several episodes throughout their first seasons.
