Both the Kodoku no Gourmet live-action series and original manga follow a solitary salesman named Gorō Inagashira as he travels all over Japan and samples the local cuisine found on street corners. The live-action show's eighth season premiered in October 2019.

Zappon began serializing the story on the "Shōsetsuka ni Nārō" website in October 2017, where it is still continuing. Kadokawa began publishing the story in print with illustrations by Yasumo beginning with the first volume in June 2018. Masahiro Ikeno launched a manga adaptation of the novels in Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in May 2018. The franchise has over 1 million copies in circulation.
Final Fantasy IX debuted on PlayStation in 2000. Square Enix most recently re-released the Final Fantasy IX game on the Switch and Xbox One in March 2019. Square Enix re-released Final Fantasy IX on the PlayStation 4 in September 2017. It previously re-released the game on iOS and Android devices in February 2016, and on PC via Steam in April 2016.

Ryō Narita plays Shinobu Hisatake (both upper left in image above), a childhood friend of Suzu's who worries about her. His place in the school basketball team earns him a lot of popularity with girls, but he maintains a mysterious aura. He once proposed to Suzu when they were kids.
